Offbeat Bride

If I ever find that right guy and get married, I would be an offbeat bride. There is an amazing website dedicated to women like me. I’m non traditional and I want that to be reflected in a wedding I may have. No Cinderella taffeta or doves and harpists for me. I want to have fun because it will be a celebration. A party of two people coming together along with friends and family. My aunts will be disappointed because they would want me to be a “Say Yes to the Dress” kind of bride. They will be upset when I tell them I will wear a comfortable dress not designed by Vera Wang. The groom will wear a suit, not a tuxedo. The bridesmaids only have to wear the same color scheme. They can whatever style dress they would like. No spending $300 on a dress they will never wear again. Rehearsal dinner would include karaoke, Rock Band and Guitar Hero as we munch on delicious tapas and drink red and white sangria. Izzes for those who don’t drink. It will fit my $5000 budget (the rest of the money would be towards a great honeymoon). I love the site to plan and imagine.
